Vikram Shrestha

Vikram Shrestha is a talented contemporary Nepali artist who has built a notable presence in the fine arts community by beautifully preserving the country’s cultural identity on canvas. Committed to mastering visual storytelling, he pursued his formal art education at the historic Lalitkala Campus in Kathmandu, earning his Bachelor Degree in Fine Arts. Unlike abstract painters who lean toward non-objective forms, Shrestha focuses his creative energy on a realistic and descriptive style. He gained significant recognition for his participation in the collaborative fine arts exhibition titled “Hope” at the Nepal Art Council in Baber Mahal, where he and his fellow artists showcased dozens of intricate works featuring urban landscapes, rural daily activities, and detailed portraits. His paintings, which frequently depict sacred cultural sites like Pashupatinath, the historic beauty of Patan Durbar Square, and peaceful everyday moments across Nepal, are regularly featured in local Kathmandu galleries like the Bhav Art Gallery.
